Frogspawn time!

When I got back from holiday I was pleased to see frogspawn in my pond.  Today there were a number of frogs showing so a lovely spring sight.

I had to go into Ellesmere this morning so while I was there had a walk by the Mere. What a lovely mild day! A lot of trees had been cut down including a wood of native trees which was sad to see.  A lot of young ones had been planted but it will be a long time before they're grown.
