View from the Perch …

… of the Eurasian eagle-owl (extra taken yesterday). I was hoping to show the owl to Wildmint and her husband and so we got up very early to get to Chamoson (where 2 of these owls are nesting) before the sun was up. As soon as we arrived we heard it hooting, then nothing! I was so disappointed for them as I had seen the couple on the 10th February https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3335700747894390829. 

I had to get to a meeting of the Swiss Nature Photographers Group which is always a convivial affair, by 11:30. The quality of the photo and film presentations is so amazing that I wish I had started wilderness  photography earlier in my life!
