The Rain Song

Sometimes the old songs of the 70s come to mind, perhaps given some of us are in that time of life when the days of our youth seemed so carefree. I love this one written by Jimmy Page/Robert Plant and performed by Led Zeppelin. 

We have had an extraordinary amount of rain over the past 12/18 hours and the sky this morning was unequivocal. 

In the extra is a photo taken on my return from a quick walk in the hills after lunch, puddles and mud everywhere, but a shy blue sky daring to peep through the clouds.
