Cooking on solar
Well, not quite, but the 2kwh from the sun this afternoon certainly helped the washing machine to keep turning. That seems pretty good to me for west coast Scotland in March! So the solar panels are installed and connected to our electricity input for the house. Soon, they will also be connected to a battery which will store the excess when we aren’t using many electrical implements in the house or shed. If the situation ever arises that we aren’t using all the electricity being generated and the battery is full, then the electricity gets fed back into the grid, but I think that will be a very rare day
