In our happy place

I took the dogs to the woods for a good run first thing. Their delight was unmistakable when they got out of the car. Puddles were splashed in, unmentionable things rolled in, other dogs avoided as much as possible.

Storm and Piggy slept well for a few hours while I got on with housework and the first cut of the grass. I edged the front path, swept up and picked up all the litter blown around the greens surrounding the house.

I ran out of puff before I could clean the car so that’s a job for another day.
