The Piano bar

How very lovely blippers are… I did so appreciate your kindness in your comments yesterday.  I was supposed to be in Cornwall this weekend, but didn’t feel well enough to go.
And today I tried to do battle with the blues.  A bit of gardening, listening to some good music, and in the evening I went down to the centre to see a film ”On Falling” about a young Portuguese woman working in an Amazon type warehouse in Glasgow. Not very jolly for sure, but beautiful, with the odd tiny spark of joy. To some extent autobiographical, it showed what it is to be paid only enough for rent, electricity and food.  So if you suddenly have to pay £99 to get your phone fixed - because your phone is your only link with the world - you can’t buy food or heat your room for a week. We are told many young people live hand to mouth - this shows that life in a very gentle and humanistic way.  I really recommend it.
This lovely blue glass is next to, and part of, the front of the Hippodrome theatre. It’s close to where I got my bus home.
