Musing of a Lady

More Time In The Garden

It's been another gorgeous day! Little Man had nursery this morning and really enjoyed it. His teachers have also noticed the longer sentences that Little Man has been saying. His speech has taken another bound forwards. He's saying longer sentences and using more filler words, like "in" and "the". I'm really glad. I'm also hopeful that he'll make enough progress in his speech development by September that will mean he can attend mainstream school.

When we got home from nursery, Little Man spent most of the afternoon in the garden. The weather has been nice enough to leave the jackets inside. He's really enjoyed the sunshine. I took the opportunity to get my Panasonic Lumix G1 out again. Little Man finds it a lot of fun running away from the camera. He also crawled between my legs and just lay there, for a while. That's when I took this photo.

I also saw the swans again, near the house, hopefully just looking for food and not a nesting place (see the extra photo). I've written about the swans before. They mate for life and despite being beautiful birds, can be very aggressive, especially when it comes to protecting their nests.
