Twine

Pausing to admire someone’s successful efforts to join  strands of barbed wire with two different colours of twine and a shoe lace.

Later, I popped down to Saltaire for another Live Room gig at the Caroline Club. Josienne Clarke is touring with an appreciation of the songs of Sandy Denny, backed with a very able band. Clarke is quite an established artist/songwriter in her own right, so it seems quite brave to sublimate your own material for a full set, but she is a great singer, and seemed very committed to and engaged with the project, so it was a fine evening.
