2025 Friday — February’s End

This final day of February has been memorable for the two of us. We left the house earlier than usual; I had morning periodontal surgery scheduled in San Luis Obispo. Three hours later Mr. Fun was back at the dental office to take me home. It was cold outside; when I got home all I wanted to do was put my jammies on and sit in front of the heater.

We got the pups their lunch and the four of us snoozed on and off in our front room for the rest of the day. Just before 5:00 we decided to do our regular reading together because in our rush to get outta here this morning, we didn't do it.

As Mr. Fun read to me, I could see that the last sunset of Month Two was going to be spectacular. So I asked Mr. Fun to pause so we could watch.

At one point, he played music for me. He also sang to me on another moment. The entire sundown experience was subtly quiet, subdued, and magnificent. It was God's best light show of this month, and there have been several that were outstanding.
