Spring is on the way
Lex did take me down to get the phone battery replaced, but it turned out I had to leave it there for a few hours. So Doug drove me back, and I now have a working phone again. It seems to be holding the charge. Fingers crossed.
I thought I'd have a look at the terrace for some flowers, and found these daffodils surrounding a rose bush that is in bud. I'm encouraged to think that Spring really is on the way.
I learned something really disturbing today. As of March 31, Medicare (with a few exceptions) will no longer pay for telehealth visits. Patients will only be able to see a provider in office. This is a dreadful move. Patients will have to wait months to see a doctor - for an example, I was able to get a telehealth appointment to see my doctor in three weeks; the first available in office visit was in five months. I haven't heard of any group or organization trying to stop this. Is this news to you too?
