KB’s favorite city. As scullers ourselves, we enjoyed learning about gondolas. NannaK has been careful to respect the “forcola” on this gondola with some image detail. That is the hand- carved, distinctive rowlock that the gondolier “rows” against. These forcolas are available for purchase by tourists, of course. More on Venice later. HCB for NannaK
