Fruits of Labour

It's Emma's and my tradition to participate to Tampere Film Festival. We selected one screening of the International Competition series, it was called Fruits of Labour. After we saw six short movies, there was Q&A session. 5 out of 6 films directors were there watching the screening with us and then answering to questions.

Two persons from the left are Nicolas Iordanou and Sylvia Nicolaides from Cyprus, they have directed the movie called Requiem in Salt.

Then there is Emanuel Vázquez Santana (Argentina) and his movie is Una monedita (Just a Coin)

Young man on a white sweater is Bayaman Zhoomartovich Asanaliev (Kyrgyzstan), his film is called Mother.

Then there is a director Kate McMullen (UK), her film is Rhubarb Rhubarb and actress Joanna Scanlan, the star of the film.

The last but not the least is Jules Carrin (Switzerland, France), whose movie is Le film de sa vie (The Film of His Life)

The one who is missing is Daniel Stopa (Poland), director of Okienko (Through the Window)

We liked all six short films, our favourites were Rhubarb Rhubarb and Okienko.
