Murder and Mayhem

At lunchtime I decided that I'd recovered enough to set off for our planned break in Brecon. Its only a 75 minute drive but beyond our usual walking area. We stopped at Hay-on-Wye, the so-called 'town of books'. With more than twenty book shops it makes for a diverting wander. I was particularly taken by 'Murder and Mayhem' in Lion Street. As the name suggests, it specialises in the golden age of crime fiction. Now we are in Brecon and I have another night to recover before a 15 mile walk tomorrow (or not).
