Fully laden

I wanted to title today's entry "Heavy Laden" because that's how I feel at the moment, but fully laden works better. G captured this photo when she spotted this dhow heading out, starting its journey to (most likely), Iran.

It was great to be at Al Seef with Diane, enjoying Americanos from Costa. The weather was noticeably warmer but not unpleasant. She was going on a second diving weekend in a row, so she needed to be back soon.

G & I walked to a local cafe to enjoy the pancakes that the proprietor had wanted to make for us since January. It wasn't pancakes as we know it, but nice to try nonetheless. And then we were gifted a glass teapot and hibiscus leaves. Amazing!

It is International Women's Day tomorrow. Costa is giving all women a free coffee, so we'll see if we get down to one to take them up on their offer.
