Wet day

I've barely left the house all day. I just popped out at 5 pm to grab a Flower Friday blip. It's probably the last opportunity to blip this blossom as after the earlier onslaught of rain the ground was littered with petals.

I did further purging of books: cookbooks and books in French. The shelves are a lot emptier! I've now lit the fire: we're down to our last basket of firewood and the forecast for the weekend is still bad. Still, if all goes to plan I'll be at choir practice.
