Setting up a new dash cam

Late last year, I noticed videos on my dash cam were a little fuzzy, especially lights at night, and sometimes saved videos would have glitches, odd pixelation or not be saved at all. So I recently bought a new replacement.

I bought a Rexing V1P Plus, an upgrade from my Rexing V1. It includes a rear camera as well. The front camera records in 4K; the V1 is only in 1080p. This is my first time having a rear camera. I also installed the cables inside the rubber and plastic in the car, so no more wires are in the way.

I wanted to test them after installation last night, but my car's battery died. I last got a new battery four years ago. That seems a little soon for a battery to stop working. Annoying!
