The Greeting…..

This morning I flew via Sounds Air to Wellington. I’m here for the weekend, staying with Daughter Margaret and Steve. This evening Margaret and I drove to Lyall Bay and took a long walk along the beach. Low tide and there were lots of dog walkers and their dogs having fun along the beach. I talked with a young woman exercising her six month old Border Collie. Such a well behaved dog for his age. They were joined briefly by a very shaggy, wet black dog. They were so much fun and so joyful.
Later this evening we went to the airport to pick up granddaughter Emily who has flown down from Auckland for the weekend.
