Venue #6!

Oh my 

SIX venues! My one and done is now in its sixth venue.
I managed to hurt my hand trying to close up the little cart we used to move the boxes to my car. 
I don’t think it is broken but my doctor was worried because I don’t have a lot of padding on my hands and if, during the night, I decide I may be wrong, I already have a referral for an x-ray.

The Supreme Court said that the judge’s order demanding the overlords pay their foreign assistance bills could stand. The judge has re-ordered that they must pay the plaintiffs by the end of Monday. This will not be fun - they fired nearly everyone in the agency already. 

The news is confusing. It sounds as though the overlords are now asking the recipients of USAID money to answer questions justifying their projects. This is ….. annoying …. Since most of the people managing those projects have already been laid off. Given all the times we were told to answer this question or justify these people or those projects, I don’t know if it is part of a plot to deliberately demoralize us. On the one hand, much of what they have done is so sloppy that we think they don’t know what they are doing. On the other hand, I suspect that it might be a sophisticated plot to get us used to complying and to better play with our heads. 

There was a court case that the overlords lost and they are not allowed to fire a zillion government employees. Am I still laid off? Presumably someone will tell me if I am still employed? 

There is a restaurant giving current and recently fired federal employees free food tomorrow from 2-5. Nando’s. 

EU leaders met today! They approved a major spending package on defense and they gave Zelensky a warm welcome. I presume no one questioned his attire. Of that $680 billion, $160 billion is to be loans so again, the liar in office is again shown to be inaccurate. 

They also loosened debt restrictions on countries which allows them to increase military spending. The focus of spending will be air defense, missiles, drones, anti-drone systems, and AI. The peace dividend is gone. 

Turkey said it could send a peacekeeping force to Ukraine.
