Sam’s Day

At long last match day for Sam, excited doesn’t cover it.
Sam left with her teammates, I set off so as to arrive ten minutes before kick off. What a great game, a real advert for the Women’s Inner Warrior League.
Evenly matched, some back and forth play and alternate scoring made it entertaining for those of us spectating. St Austell stretched away a bit in the second half but Falmouth never gave in and with virtually the last move of the match scored the final try of the match, the conversion meant a Falmouth win.

I headed home for my Mrs S cooked roast dinner leaving the women to celebrate.
