SOS
Much milder today, & dull, showers possibly coming in later in the day but just in case the weather forecasters got it wrong I decided to move some of the frogspawn from the drying puddles into a large puddle that rarely dries out during this mornings walk on the heath.
I met a few locals enroute this morning, first Mr Berrisford, then Sheila Walker, lastly Alison who had spotted an injured pheasant in the roadside as she drove back into the village. She was fetching some wild bird seed from home before driving back to try & rescue the bird.
Mum & I walked up to the village hall to swap the jigsaw puzzles we'd completed. We chose two new 500 piece puzzles then returned home. I hoped we might bump into someone that Mum knew while we were out but not a soul. We made a start on a jigsaw puzzle by trying to complete the outer edge. I think there are a couple of pieces missing which will be a shame... The jigsaws title is 'The Missing Piece'.. better make that two. Gave Mum her lunch, prepared some strawberries for her tea then headed home.
I started to blitz the spare bedroom/craft/sewing room this morning before heading down to CK, so continued this afternoon after lunch.
