Coming Home

Being born by the sea and always having lived on the coast I have a natural affinity with all things nautical.... I often sit for hours by the harbour watching for the boats to come home.... It never fails to raise my spirits when I see the lads come in with a trail of gulls in their wake...like the Deborah Anne out of Balbriggan shown here coming into Skerries Harbour... It can only mean a good catch with all on board safe and well.... It doesn't always work out well.... but it's then I'm most proud of the fishing communities where I'm lucky enough to live..........
