Hill Top Ramblings

Timber……!

What a glorious day! It was 14C and windless, really wonderful! Rob went off to do a marine survey, leaving Bonnie and me in charge of the bread baking…
I had a bit of a juggling act in the morning. The Aga is still not performing well, and my neighbours kindly said I could bake the bread in their oven. The Aga service man arrived at the same time so I was trotting between kitchens! Then the window cleaner came too, so Bonnie didn’t know which way to wag!
That all went well though, and we did some gardening to make the most of the day. David was busy felling the laurel, which had really got too big. He was trying to use his little pruning saw….I took pity on him and lent him Robs bowsaw!
Busy day at Hill Top!
