Middle aisle day - not a success

Lidl doing an electric lawn raker at a good price, even better with a Lidl plus app.
Went into the Lidl website to get the app, filled out all the data, clicked on continue and got a verification page asking for my credit card details to confirm location.
Entered those and the page changed to a page confirming I’d signed up to a Gym and Sports company. Closed the page and the Lidl page was still there so finished registration and got the QR code.
Went to Lidl, bought the scarifier, came home, put it together and went out and scarified the lawn. All good until the wheel fell off.
Went to find out how to get a refund and found three emails from various sport companies in Eastern Europe saying I would be charged between £25 and £60 tomorrow unless I log on to unsubscribe..
No way going to open those links so called the bank and stopped the credit card.
Meanwhile Lidl had no more scarifiers so got a refund.
Bit of an unsatisfactory day really….
