Ely Cathedral

I met up with some former (old) colleagues for lunch.

The restaurant is in a former fire station close to the cathedral and I have been having occasional meals there since about 1976, the quality has always been excellent. They also offer second helpings even though the meal is generous in the first place - but on occasion I have yielded to the temptation.

The cathedral dates from about 1083 and is well worth a visit.
