World book day (UK)

There were lots of ankle-biters in our library, dressed as their favourite book characters. Photographing them was not appropriate, so I snapped our copy of this book from the golden era of odd pass-times for children. Apparently, encouraging young people to read is a good idea. Shame so many libraries are closing.
