Enjoying the sun

What a lovely sunny day we have had. We were going to go out, but decided to stay and enjoy the sunshine at home.

Gordon did lots of useful things outside - definitely no gardening - cleaning the patio, painting the shed etc. Meanwhile I sat in the sunshine and read my books. I didn’t last long actually outside as there was quite cold wind, but it was great to be sitting in the conservatory with the doors and windows open at long last.

I am really enjoying this Life of Paul Gauguin, well-written and absolutely fascinating.

And there we are - I know World Book Day is for encouraging children’s book reading, but here’s a book anyway.
