Sarangbang Korean Restaurant, Madrid
Always nice to be back in Madrid. An easy train journey and then metro to our usual pension, Hostal Ivor on Calle Arenal. A change (of scene!) is as good as a rest as they say, so I did some Tokyo Teens marking and some normal marking at the desk in our pension. Bought in milk and biscuits so that we can have coffee in the room, having brought our wee travel kettle with us. I had a break late afternoon to have a walk and a bite in my usual little place on Plaza Opera, then met Bb in Sarangbang Korean restaurant, after he’d finished his work on the IESE Madrid campus. Lovely food in Sarangbang, as usual. It’s become our regular first night place here as it’s just a few mins walk away and you get a table if you get there when it opens at 7.30pm
