San Antonia Chapel

This cute little church is situated at the top of a chairlift at the side of the slope in the Pralongia ski area. It was built in 1977 in memory of a member of a local family who started up a mountain refuge hut, a Rifugio,  nearby in the 1920s.
You can read about it here.
Another beauty of a a day. We decided not to ski the Sella Ronda on this holiday because it is now so busy and the snow is deteriorating in the spring temperatures. We had another gentle day tootling around the Pralongia area.
I had a delicious lunch of Barley soup with little stuffed pastry “ turtres “ filled with spinach and ricotta, and by coincidence this dish is on our menu here at the hotel this evening. I’m sure twice in a day is not excessive…
