Today we had a surprise visitor here and made good progress on site. The site meeting this morning took three hours which meant the whole day was put back - quite a problem when there's so little time to complete it.

But they had to stay late to make sure the flooring guy and the tiler (working at night so as not to hold up other trades) were clear what they were to do, and while they were waiting for those guys to get there, the light rafts were put up, another big chunk of work done and one that's actually better done when the site's relatively clear of people - nobody around to crack in the head with a scaffold pole! So all in all a long but productive day
