Ash Wednesday*

Drove over an hour, through beautiful countryside to Viana do Alentejo, for Padre Luís to put ashes on our heads - "Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return." And then shared a meal with him. On his phone here with a pastoral situation that came up during the meal. Poor guy is exhausted.

Gratefuls:
- doing the Lula walk together in warm sunshine
- getting various work situations resolved
- Felicity and Paul making us a delicious roast pumpkin risotto for lunch

And grateful to Mike for all his driving, quite a lot in heavy rain.

*Oh, and won't be turning comments off for Lent because I so value our relationships on Blip, but won't be commenting unless really want to say something specific, and will be grateful if you reciprocate in kind - so I don't feel guilty! Hoping to spend less time on my phone/laptop, and more time relating to those around me.
