Digging deep

The work to put in better drainage in nearby Granta Vale has been going on for months.

Sections of the road are closed, holes dug, removed bits of earth transported to storage (across the road from us), pipes put in and then stored earth is returned and filled in on top.  I think that is how it works.

The work is getting closer and closer to the High Street so I saw and chatted to the men today.  Seemingly the work will continue down the High Street and stop finally at the Fire Station.
