Train

Up early this morning to head into Cardiff for our annual company conference. Got to the station and one of the moderns trains new to the line was at the platform. They are certainly a lot quieter than the old ones and marginally more comfortable, there was a noticeable difference to the one I came home on! Ended up getting off a couple of stops early and walking across Cardiff to the venue as there were signalling problems on the line.
Reasonable meeting and good to catch up with people I hadn't seen for 12 months, the downside of all working remotely.
