Arrivederci, Roma

Having seen on Mr Smith's blip that Bar Roma is closing at the end of August, today's school-shoe-shopping trip seemed the ideal opportunity to pay it a visit. Quite possibly a final visit.

Sad to see it go. It's always been somewhere you could rely on - with good food and a friendly welcome. And today was no exception.

I have no idea what George is approving of so enthusiastically here. And, having asked him, neither has he.
