Aurora over Iceland

In this capture, made on January 28, the Northern Lights are visible among the stars. The Constellation of Orion is visible from the northern skies of Iceland. The Orion Nebula (M-42 - Object number 42 in Charles Messier's Catalog) is clearly visible in this wide angle capture.
Unlike being seen in an approximately horizontal position, as we see it at lower latitudes, here the Constellation of the Hunter appears in an approximately vertical position.
