A walk in the Gardens

Spent the morning making good use of my new toy - a power washer. Path and walls never looked so clean and bright, though I ended up a bit wet!
This afternoon we had tea in Saltram Gardens. The main is an oak tree which I always thought of as a single tree, though here it looks as though two trees have merged. The first extra is a flowering tree and the second is the magnificent tulip tree. The ring-necked parakeets were very active and noisy. Some people who were sitting quietly watching informed us that one bird was plucking camellia flowers from the top of the tree. Very odd!
