Napping

Dad sleeps a lot nowadays. I went with him to Specsavers this morning, where a nice person sorted out his hearing aids. Still not great, though, and hearing loss can be so isolating and is a risk factor for dementia.

A lovely sunny day here again after a foggy start. I went to the library again, looked up how to write a cover letter, wrote one and sent it off. I walked to the GP surgery to get a printout of Dad’s latest blood tests and then came home for a cup of tea and some knitting. The latest hat is almost finished!

Tea has been cooked and eaten and Mum and Dad are doing the dishes…
