Backblip

What a lovely, but tiring day. I woke quite early and went out into the garden in my dressing gown to take a back up blip in case I didn’t get anything else during the day. Well, guess what…..?  :))

We spent a good few hours in the garden and greenhouse trying to get rid of some of the old perennial stems as they have suddenly all started sprouting whilst we’ve been away. My back didn’t thank me for all the bending but we’ve made quite good progress. It will need a lot of weeding now though which we are not looking forward to at all. 

After a bit of an afternoon nap, I went to Mum’s as usual on a Tuesday evening.  My youngest niece was there visiting Grandma. Apparently she has a “reading week” at university, but reckons she hasn’t got anything to read! 
She also reckons that her first ’year’ ends on April 7th and she has no exams this year either apart from one last week as it’s all coursework. It seems to me that students don’t actually get very good value for money for their £9,250 fees at the moment. She’s been in uni for less than 6 months of the year.
