Crocuses
Thank you for all the hearts and lovely comments on yesterday's image. Landscape photography is always about the light, and catching early morning light or late afternoon light does make such a difference to the scene. It just takes a bit of effort to get up that early!
Today was busy. I had a dentist appointment before my group golf session. The dentist appointment went well and finished in time for me to get to golf on time. It was expensive but I really must not complain considering the skilled job my dentist carried out - filling a tiny bit of erosion at the top of the tooth where it meets the receding gum. You cannot even tell it is not part of the natural tooth, he did a brilliant job. I had a numb mouth until well after lunchtime so it was interesting eating lunch and drinking!
Today as the weather was so mild and sunny we were outside practising chipping around the chipping green. Afterwards some of us enjoyed coffees outside in the sunshine, it was bliss to feel the warmth of the sun again.
Xena had two walks again today so I never had much time for anything else. This is an EB of the crocuses in my garden - wouldn't it be great if these were the saffron crocuses so I could pick my own supply!
I am now going up to London, a few months ago I got tickets to see the play Unicorn with Nicola Walker and Stephen Mangan, who I have both seen on stage a few times previously, and of course we know about the chemistry between them in The Split - also starring Erin Doherty from Downton Abbey. Hopefully it will be a good production.
