Flower Show Venue

This years Flower show is in the Methodist church in east street, the churches share this and last year it was the Anglican church.

The display was lovely and despite the warmth the flowers still looked fresh, the smell was wonderful. The theme was song titles and some of the colours and displays were amazing, sadly for my pictures the church was full of people looking and discussing the flowers. But the outside was full of sunshine and the hanging baskets looked as good.

The village used to have 5 or 6 churches, but now there is just 2 with a third holding its services in a local sports hall. The village is losing some things slowly over time but compared to other villages its thriving.
