Costa Esmeralda

The day after our arrival to Paso Largo we went to Costa Esmeralda ("Emerald Coast"), a long long beach with the characteristic dark sand of the state of Veracruz. We spent a lot of time there until it began to darken. A beautiful day with my mom and brother. It had been a very long time since last time I was at a warm beach (Sweden's beaches have nothing to do with it...).

In the image we can see a rustic volley ball net, which gives me a feeling of nostalgia and reminds me a lot of the nicest side of my culture: the capacity to enjoy a moment belittling the fact of how "tragic" the situation can actually be.
