Bus Pass Walk

Bus to Bingley then the Shuttle to Saltaire. Steep hill down to the Higher Ground cafe for refreshments. 4 BPWs trotted off back to Bingley along the canal. K and I decided we were unsure how far we could walk and the first "escape route' was at Waggon Lane, and still a fair walk back to the main road from there. So we decided to walk back up to the bus route from the cafe. Very steep going up, but we timed it just right for a bus back to Bingley. Went to what used to be "Lavinia's" for lunch, which became "The Orchard Cafe & Bistro" some time ago. Lots of sweet or savoury pancake options for Shrove Tuesday, but I had a lovely poached salmon salad.  Photo taken in the Market Square - swathes of crocus everywhere. Then off to the Community Cinema to see "Wicked Little Letters". Made the mistake of not bagging an end of row seat,  so the last half hour was spent rubbing my aching knee and wishing away the minutes. Got through it though! :-)
