The End
Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to London.
The train was delayed by about 15 minutes.
I was hoping to meet our new CEO today, and whilst we did say hello we never got a chance to have a proper talk. So, uncertainty remains and if I'm honest I'm switching off, I have zero motivation. In the line of work I do you have to senior management buy in and we always had that with our previous CEO, I don't get the sense that it will be the same with the new one. I could be wrong.
I'm massively in the change curve now, a mixture of anger and sadness. I'm worried my team is going to break up and I'm going to lose great people and I don't know if I can be bothered to build it up again.
My young padawan was in today but she has a heavy cold, so she was struggling. In the evening we went for a meal at Kricket, an Indian restaurant in Shoreditch and very nice it was as well.
Saw this sign on the way back to the tube and it does feel like something is ending.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A good day and evening with my young padawan
