New and improved

We have had the darker design carpet in the living room for over 20 years. Today I purchased the lighter color which is actually gray, blue, white with a little splash of rust.

On Thursday a new sofa, gray color and a new chair for me, blue color. The old sofa is probably 40 years old. It is the second sofa we had in our married life! It and another chair went to the charity shops as they were still in good shape. I found a chair that fits my short legs so my feet touch the floor when I sit! A real short person problem! It also has a foot rest for comfy reading without reclining. Another problem solved.

Now to replace our mattress and get a new front door. Our door is 45 years old and really needs to be updated.

Looks much brighter in the room already.
