Croaked Crocus

These indoor crocuses have been flowering on my kitchen windowsill but have now come to an end.  I think it may have been accelerated at the weekend by the oven being on for two hours and a pot stewing on the hob.  On the other hand, it just might be that their time had come.

The leaves still look heathy and erect.
