Good News!

The church cafe has replaced its dismal plastic flowers with some sparkly (real) daffodils. 

Made my day...

But seriously, my day was less arduous than Monday. Two colleagues returned to The Office today after sickness absences. The pain could be spread about a little. 

That meant only two remain on sickness absence... and one is away on holiday this week. There are only six of us. Yes, exactly. 

My pain yesterday was a result of having to do an induction for a temporary replacement. She knew the role inside out until she retired 7 years ago, and has not worked since. Things have moved on a little in the meantime. 

Tomorrow will be another day, and I have managed to stay off the beer tonight.
