For his acting commitment!
As a condition of getting the part of William in Goodnight Mr Tom Nathaniel had agreed to get his long hair cut. Here’s the result. He looks older I think.
It’s been a busy day. The builders didn’t arrived till 10.30 then they got busy. They got the frames up.
I had to make a contribution to the Veggie food group lunch which was French Cake Sale - onion, mushrooms, spinach, eggs, butter, flour, cheese. I walked over to the other side of the valley to Judith’s. We had really interesting conversations so the time flew. Suzie provided homemade bread and cauliflower and cheese soup, Alison had made a light pastry with leeks and cheese, Ali made a veg pie topped with potatoes and Judith did pancakes (it’s Shrove Tuesday) with blueberries and cream. Because Suzie thinks it should all be a surprise it turned out to be a very heavy meal. This was unfortunate as we were going out tonight to eat at Carol and Phil’s and they made a pasta and mushroom dish followed by cheese!
I have an early start tomorrow as for some reason Chris booked the 7.34 am train which means leaving here at 6.55. Nothing will be open in Edinburgh till 10 so we’ll just walk to the Modern Galleries and have coffee on the way.
