Another amaryllis

A rather mixed day!
Rob had the dentist and Bonnie the vet, so they were both rather anxious but came out unscathed.
We got some gardening done, and then decided to take Bonnie for a walk around Old Park Wood, maybe see some wildlife…
First, I spotted a pile of dead rooks, jackdaws and magpies dumped by the side of the road, no doubt by some caring farmer.
Then we found a poor dead frog belly up in the path.
Bonnie discovered a sorry dead fox in the undergrowth.
So that was our walk.
Trying to go home another route we passed poor Burnsbeck Moss, now a wasteland thanks Wildlife Trust.
Then the road ahead was closed and we took a very long winding detour through some potholes, though there were some pretty goats to see…
Finally with some relief made it home safely and had a good curry for supper, only to remember afterwards that we had planned to have pancakes….. well that at least can be rectified tomorrow!!
