Scarborough Castle

Thank you for the responses to my recent Blips. 

Today I needed to pick up some paint in Scarborough so had a quick diversion onto the coast to grab a photo. This is the view across South Bay towards the harbour and castle. It looked busier than normal on the front but then I remembered that it was the annual Skipping Day which falls on Shrove Tuesday. Teams taking part in the races would be competing in the fancy dress obstacle course race while flipping their pancakes. I wonder who won the Golden Frying Pan this year?


No time to investigate as Richard was waiting in the car.
