Is That You, Mum?

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I made Caro lunch today BUT DID NOT GET THANKED.

It was SNATCHED from my hands with a "harumph" and then Caro was gone. 

The reason for this HARSH and UNFAIR treatment was that Caro wanted to leave early today. But I did not know this. I was going on her regular schedule, so she had to wait for me to assemble it. 

Impatient. 

Hence: grumpy.

She felt bad though. Five minutes after she left the house, I got a voice message from her, apologising for her brusque manner. She didn't need to. I get it. I can be that way myself. But it was nice of her to think of me. 

As I played the voice message, Jasper PEERED at me. He recognised her voice!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY MUM?? his concerned face suggested. 

Bless his little fuzzy heart. He is so clever. 

But then the message ended and he went back to sleep. Mum can go back in her box.
