Its Shrove Tuesday. More popularly known as Pancake Day. Here is one of the several I enjoyed. Some with CANADIAN Maple Syrup and some with Lemon juice and castor sugar.
Shrove Tuesday is always 46 days before Easter Sunday so its date varies each year. It is the day when you are shriven of your sins. You also eat up any rich foods you have in the house in readiness for Lent.
